Microwave Antennas for CBRS 3.5 GHz Spectrum

Increased deIncreased demand for wireless connectivity is driving capacity requirements and spectrum availability for network deployment. Supporting the need for available spectrum has become difficult, driving the industry to take action to address the issue.

The Citizens Broadband Radio Services (CBRS) spectrum band opened up 150 MHz of spectrum in the 3.5 GHz band for commercial use to a larger segment of the market, resulting in a shared access service. The FCC has finalized the three-tiered access of incumbent users, priority access licensees (PAL) and generally authorized in which the auctioning of PALs will begin in July. Despite these clearly defined user access rules, the surge of CBRS users will necessitate careful frequency planning and interference mitigation techniques. In point to point link, whether for client premise or backhaul, the antenna will be the first line of defense in mitigating interference.

RadioWaves 3.5 GHz wireless and broadband parabolic antennas are designed to improve signal to noise ratio through enhanced gain and reduced interference. This improved RF performance will allow higher modulation rates, capacity, and throughput for any point-to-point link.

RadioWaves 3.5 GHz antennas support applications including Fixed Wireless, Mobility, Public Safety, Railway, and Utilities.
